Write for the audience, not for yourself. A board or executive briefing should be short, honest about uncertainty, and organized around decisions they need to make — not a raw recitation of IOCs or ATT&CK technique IDs without translation. A user says: "New ransomware group named us on their leak site's 'coming soon' page, board wants a briefing in two hours — what do I actually know and what don't I?"
