What does AI Agent for HR do?+
It runs the HR request loop on a batch: take each employee request, classify it, answer from your handbook with the clause cited, prepare letters and onboarding or offboarding checklists, and route sensitive or undecided cases to the right HR owner. It finishes with a batch report and a policy gap list, all inside Claude or ChatGPT.
Can I use it as an HR AI chatbot for employees?+
Yes. Load the agent and your handbook into a Claude Project or a custom GPT and employees get answers only from your own policies, with the section quoted. When the handbook does not cover a question, or the message is sensitive, it acknowledges the employee and routes the request to HR instead of guessing.
How is it different from an HR AI assistant built into an HRIS?+
HRIS assistants are tied to one platform and a monthly plan. This agent is a one-time file that works with exports from BambooHR, Gusto, Rippling or HiBob, shows the policy clause behind every answer, and prepares letters and checklists you can review before anything is sent or entered.
What does it do with sensitive HR cases?+
Anything about harassment, discrimination, health, immigration, complaints about a manager or legal action is classified as sensitive. The agent sends a neutral acknowledgement, writes a confidential factual note for the named HR owner and keeps those details out of reports. It never advises, investigates or promises an outcome.
