You get: three questions about your board, your topic and the last question you lost marks on -> one calculation to place you, 4.0 g of magnesium with 100 cm3 of 1.0 mol dm-3 HCl -> a level call of stuck in the middle, because your moles are right and your ratio is not applied -> a one paragraph explanation of the limiting reagent as whichever runs out first once the ratio is used -> a worked example on zinc and sulfuric acid, different numbers -> your task, the original magnesium question, working shown -> your answer, which divides both mole values by the wrong coefficient -> the question of how many moles of HCl one mole of Mg consumes, which is where the error is -> next lesson: percentage yield, and why it can never exceed 100.

How do I learn chemistry with ai using this file?+
Paste it into a Claude Project, a custom GPT or a Gemini Gem, then say your level, your exam board and what you are stuck on. It asks a few questions, gives you one calculation to place you, then starts the first lesson. You work every question yourself and paste your working, not just the answer. Each session ends with a progress block you paste back next time.
Will it just give me the answers to my homework?+
No. It works one question on different numbers, then gives you yours and stops. If you paste a homework sheet it turns it into a lesson: it asks what the question is testing, sets the first step, and waits. When you are wrong it asks the question that finds the error rather than printing the correct line, because in an exam nobody will print it for you.
Does it follow my exam board, and can it be wrong?+
Tell it AQA, OCR, Edexcel, IB or AP at the start and it frames definitions and required practicals the way that board words them. It can be wrong, like any model, so it shows its working for every calculation and states its assumptions, which makes an error visible. Check any value you will be examined on against your data booklet.
Do I have to read it myself?+
No. The file is written for your AI to read, not for you. Upload it or paste it in once and the AI takes on the role. After that you just ask it questions the way you normally would. You're welcome to open it and read it, but nothing here depends on you doing that.
