What does the AI Skill for Revit do?+
It turns Claude or ChatGPT into a Revit AI assistant that writes what your model needs: family parameters and formulas, schedule field and filter setups, view template and visibility checklists, IFC and DWG export settings, workset plans and Dynamo or Revit API scripts. You describe the task, it returns the steps and artefacts for Revit.
Does it operate Revit for me?+
No. It does not click inside Revit, open your model or run scripts. It prepares the exact ribbon paths, formulas, schedule settings and code so you can apply them in Revit yourself, and it warns you to back up or test on a copy before anything destructive.
Can it help with Revit families and formulas?+
Yes. Give it the family you need, for example a cabinet with variable shelf count, and it returns the parameter list (Type vs Instance, shared or not), the reference plane strategy and formulas in Revit syntax, plus how to test the family by flexing types.
Does it cover Revit worksharing, IFC export and Dynamo?+
