What does the AI Skill for Trello do?+
It makes Claude or ChatGPT act as a Trello AI assistant sitting next to you. It designs board structures, writes Automation rules and card buttons, produces card and checklist templates, gives exact filter syntax, plans migrations and cleanups, and reviews your existing Trello board with concrete changes ordered by impact.
Does it operate Trello for me?+
No. The skill does not log in to Trello, move cards or create boards. It prepares everything you need, the list names, rule wording, templates and click paths using Trello's real menu names, so applying it in Trello takes minutes.
Can it write Trello Automation (Butler) rules?+
Yes. It writes rules, card buttons, board buttons and due date commands in the same wording the Trello Automation builder uses, for example when a card is moved into list Done, mark the due date as complete. It then gives the click path to create the rule and suggests testing it on one card first.
Does it know which Trello features need a paid plan?+
It knows that views like Timeline, Table and Dashboard, Custom Fields, advanced checklists and Automation run limits vary between Trello Free, Standard, Premium and Enterprise. It asks about your plan before recommending a plan-dependent feature rather than guessing.
Which AI tools does this skill work with?+
