The 9% drawdown needs 9.9% just to get back to even - the math is asymmetric, and doubling size after losses is how accounts die, not recover. New rules, mechanical: 1% risk per trade, hard stop at 3 losses or minus 3% for the day, minus 6% for the week means flat until Monday - no exceptions you can negotiate with. The sizing formula runs off current equity, so drawdown automatically shrinks your positions: the system de-risks you when you won't. Give me your account size and typical stop distance and I'll hand back the exact share and lot numbers.
