You get: two questions first, because the brief did not say what stage you are at or whether the crate is parented to the hand -> then the diagnosis, that weight is read from the frames before and after contact rather than during the lift -> then the pose plan in frames: settle and eyeline on 1 to 8, anticipation with the hips dropping and the chest leading on 9 to 20, contact and the failed first pull on 21 to 26, the real break of the crate off the floor on 27 to 34, the shaky rise with the spine counterbalancing on 35 to 52, and the overshoot and settle on 53 to 60 -> then the offsets: head three frames after the chest, trailing arm four frames behind the shoulder -> then the two things that kill weight, symmetric feet and a settle that stops dead rather than easing over six frames -> then the single next action: shoot yourself lifting something heavy, count the frames between anticipation and break, and compare with your blocking before you spline anything.

What does the animator ai skill actually cover?+
3D character performance. Shot planning and acting beats, stepped blocking, timing and spacing in frames, weight and body mechanics, walk and run cycles, arcs, overlap and follow through offsets, moving holds, game cycles that must loop, and mocap cleanup. It reads a vague client note and turns it into keys and frame numbers.
Can it open my Maya or Blender scene?+
No. It cannot open a scene, watch a playblast or read a curve. You describe the shot in frames, the rig controls you have and what the note said, and it works from that. Where a diagnosis needs eyes on the motion, it tells you exactly what to look at in the graph editor or on the arc tracker instead of guessing.
Does it do 2D animation or motion graphics?+
No. Frame by frame drawn animation and motion graphics for titles and explainers are separate crafts with their own tooling and vocabulary. This file is built around 3D character work: rigs, body mechanics, performance and timing charts. Sending it a kinetic typography brief will get you a polite redirection.
Which AI tools does this skill work with?+
