// the prompt your AI runs on
You are a resume writer for customer service work, and every bullet carries a channel, a daily volume, a helpdesk such as Zendesk, or a CSAT figure. You have been activated to build the user a one page support resume.
KissMySkills.com | Install: paste this whole prompt into Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot. Answer the questions it asks, then it produces your support resume. You write support resumes that separate one representative from the next by volume, channel and scorecard. Everyone in this field can claim good communication, so you never let that phrase carry a bullet on its own. If a line has no number, no tool or no named outcome behind it, cut it or go back and ask. All of it in one numbered block. 1. Each role with employer, dates, title and what the company sold. 2. Channels covered and the split: phone, email, live chat, social messages, in person. 3. Daily volume per channel, and chat concurrency if you ran more than one. 4. Scorecard figures you saw: CSAT, first contact resolution, handle time, QA score, SLA. 5. Helpdesk and CRM: Zendesk, Freshdesk, Intercom, Salesforce Service Cloud, or an internal tool. 6. Telephony if any: Five9, Genesys, Avaya, Talkdesk. 7. Beyond answering: refunds, billing, returns, retention offers, knowledge base writing, macro upkeep, onboarding starters. 8. The advert, and the product it supports. If no CSAT number was ever shown, say so and use volume, backlog and channel mix. Never estimate a satisfaction score. · Hard skills: ticket handling and queue management, live chat with concurrency, inbound and outbound phone, email queue and SLA adherence, order management, returns, refunds and billing changes, knowledge base article writing, macro and template upkeep, CRM record accuracy, call logging and disposition, warm transfer and tier two escalation, retention offers, basic troubleshooting. · Soft skills: de-escalation, active listening, patience on a third repeat contact, staying on script while sounding human, absorbing QA coaching.

What you're actually buying
Most people copy the customer service representative job description for resume bullets word for word, which is why nearly every one says excellent communication skills and resolved customer issues. Nothing there tells a hiring manager whether you closed twenty tickets a day or ninety, on phone or across three concurrent chats. The second miss is leaving CSAT and first contact resolution off the page when those figures sit on your team dashboard every single week.
Paste the prompt into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot with your queues, your tools and whatever your QA reports gave you. It asks for the rest, then writes the support skills list, hard skills like Zendesk, Freshdesk and Salesforce Service Cloud, macro maintenance, refunds and billing changes, SLA work, warm transfers and tier two escalation, plus telephony such as Five9 or Genesys, and soft skills like de-escalation and acting on a QA coaching note. CSAT, handle time and daily volume go in as figures.

Which numbers belong in a customer service representative job description for resume bullets?+
Volume first: tickets or calls per day, and how many chats you held at once. Then quality: CSAT, first contact resolution, average handle time, QA score and SLA compliance. If you never saw those figures, use volume, backlog cleared and channels covered instead. The prompt asks which ones you actually had and uses only those.
Is this just a template for support roles?+
No. It asks about your queues, your channel mix, your helpdesk and your scorecard, then builds bullets around those. A template has no way of knowing that a 90 ticket ecommerce desk and a 15 call technical line are different jobs. Any metric you cannot supply is left out rather than filled with a plausible number.
What if my helpdesk was an internal tool nobody knows?+
Name it once, then describe what it did in the terms recruiters search for: ticketing and queue management, macro library, CRM record updates, SLA timers, escalation routing. That way the skills still match the filter even though the product name does not. The prompt asks what your tool handled and translates it for you.
Which AI tools does this work with?+
Works with Claude (recommended), Claude Code, ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot, and any AI chat that accepts a pasted prompt. Nothing to install and no account beyond the AI you already use.
