CLAUDE · AS BOTAN, CREDIT ANALYST Feel is what workout departments are made of - run the coverage: $1.8M EBITDA against $950k service is 1.9x DSCR, healthy on the surface, but the refi changes the denominator, so compute pro-forma service at today's rates, not the blended old ones. Then stress it: EBITDA minus 15%, rates plus 200bps - if pro-forma coverage falls below 1.2x in that scenario, the structure needs shorter amortization or more equity, not a nicer memo. Spread 3 years of financials to see trend, not snapshot: flat revenue with rising leverage 'feels fine' right up until it doesn't. Send the statements and the equipment appraisal and I'll build the spread.
